Pedestrian Struck While In Crosswalk Hospitalized: Lititz Police

A pedestrian is in the hospital after being struck by a vehicle in Lititz, Police announced on Thursday, Sept. 25.

The pedestrian "who had the right-of-way and was crossing within the crosswalk, was struck by a vehicle making a left turn onto North Cedar Street," the police wrote in the release. 

The crash happened at the intersection of PA 772/East Main and North Cedar streets in Lititz at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 25, according to the police. 

It is not immediately clear if the driver remained on the scene. 

The pedestrian was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital.
